The Pre-Game is Over

Buckle up VIRGINIA. Game on to PROTECT LIFE. Wednesday, November 13.

Attend the Virginia House Privileges and Elections Committee hearing in Richmond on Wednesday, November 13th at 11 am, House Room C, Room 206, in the General Assembly Building, 201 N. 9th Street. This committee is proposing to amend Virginia’s Constitution outside of legislative procedure to enshrine an unlimited right to abortion at every stage of pregnancy. This is not reproductive freedom, this is the slaughter of innocents.

The misinformation campaign targeting women, mothers and fathers continues. Women continue to be lied to by the medical establishment and/or those who claim to that women will DIE if they are not afforded the right to kill their unborn child or children. Pro-abortionists are targeting young women and men stating, “if abortion is restricted, women will die.” This is the pinnacle of fear porn and medical disinformation. It is driven by money not an altruistic desire to protect women. First, I will take apart the argument that abortion is “necessary” to save lives and then I will follow the money.

Every State in these United States of America, permits the use of procedures to save the life a mother. If a mother’s life is in danger during the pregnancy, everything should be done to stabilize her life and that of her unborn child. Deliberately taking the life of the baby is never necessary. I will break this down by the stage of pregnancy. Further, this link is of testimony to confirm that no State prohibits a procedure to save the life of a mother.

During the first trimester, if a mother begins to bleed or have complications with the pregnancy, the pregnancy sometimes can be stabilized with bedrest or medications, however, there is a high risk that she will miscarriage. A miscarriage in medical lingo is also called a spontaneous abortion. This means that the baby dies and the woman’s body allows the deceased baby to be expelled from her womb. The mother will bleed and cramp similar to a menstrual cycle but typically there is more blood, tissue and cramping than a regular cycle. If a woman has a miscarriage or as medically called, a spontaneous abortion, she may elect to have a D&C to remove the contents of the uterus: the baby that has died and the placenta. This is NOT an elective abortion. An elective abortion is when the baby is still alive and not in danger of dying. A mother makes a choice to end the life of the baby for any of a long list of reasons or justifications. Many refer to this as a “crisis” pregnancy.

Crisis in medical terms is defined as a literal life and death situation. You are on the brink of death or heading downhill and immediate action must be taken. In the non-medical world, this is a situation in which immediate action needs to taken. A fire in your home is an emergency/crisis. The level increases if there are people or animals in the home. Stuff can be replaced. It is hoped that we value human life above material things.

However, women are sold a lie that an unplanned pregnancy is a crisis, when in fact it is an inconvenience. It is also demeaning and insulting to women to state this is a crisis that is so all encompassing that she must end the life of her unborn child to save her career, her education, her status. The crisis is so severe that emotionally she should not acknowledge the pregnancy. She is not capable of facing the facts or carrying the child, so, the greater good is to lie and tell her they are simply removing tissue. This is demeaning and insulting to women. Pregnancy, in particular the first half of pregnancy causes little disruption in the life a mother. Most women work or are active throughout their entire pregnancy without missing a beat. Women of all socio-economic backgrounds since the beginning of man have been able to carry a child to term with little medical intervention. However today, women are made to feel that if the medical establishment is not standing at their side, they will die. This could not be further from the truth. What mother’s need in an unplanned pregnancy is support to carry their child to term as they make decisions about continuing to parent the child or planning adoption in its various forms: open or closed.

Pregnancy is not the crisis pro-abortionists want you to believe. Parents diagnosed with cancer or other life threatening illness or debilitating accidents are potential crises. However, families over and over face these situations successfully. There are no guarantees in life. Our lives and our health can be gone in an instant. Thus, in the view of the totality of our lives, a period of nine months, is a blink of the eye. In that blink, a mother and father, are simply asked to allow their child to be born. They are asked to set aside their own agendas to allow the child they created to enter the world. Our lives are filled with inconveniences. This is part of life. Pregnancy need not be made a crisis. It should be celebrated and protected and the mother and father supported.

Further, are the mother’s and father’s of this unborn child informed of the risks of abortion? Are they informed of the increased risk of depression, suicide, anxiety, substance abuse, psychosis, infertility, sterility, breast cancer, divorce, and domestic violence? The psychological risks are not limited to women. If a women is currently in a domestic violence relationship, is it okay for her to kill her current children to protect them from domestic violence? Rather, is it prudent/moral to rescue her from the abuse?

An ectopic pregnancy, a pregnancy outside of the uterus is not a pregnancy that can proceed to term. The area of implantation is removed: the fallopian tube, the ovary or abdominal tissue. Again, the intent is to remove the tissue (fallopian tube, ovary or abdominal tissue) that is placing the mother’s life in danger not to kill the child. This is allowed by law in all 50 States.

Is it okay for a parent to kill their unborn child because of a potential or known disability? Again, I ask you, is it okay to kill your 5 year-old or 10 year-old or 15 year-old or anyone because they have a disability? Are some persons with disabilities okay to kill but other not so much?

Many mother’s undergo amniocentesis to assess the amniotic fluid for potential, yes, I said potential chromosomal abnormalities. This is not hard science. This is statistical science. Just as a PCR test should never be used to determine illness, neither should amniocentesis be used to determine the value of a human life.

We must examine that the value of human life is not determined by ability or disability. The value of human life is because we exist. Each of us is gift from God. God brought us into existence. Further, it is the unborn developing child that informs the mother that she is pregnant and instructs the mother’s body to maintain hormone levels, it is not the other way around. The mother’s body does not call the shots, it is the unborn child. Thus, this developing child is not an amorphous blob of tissue as we are told by abortion advocates. Further, a mother’s body and brain will always recognize that she has been pregnant even if the mother denies it. During the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, a mother and her unborn child may face obstacles. Again, there is never a need to deliberately take the life of the unborn baby in order to save the life of the mother. If the placenta ruptures, the amniotic sac breaks, or premature labor occurs and this is prior to 18 -20 weeks of development, the baby will no longer have blood supply or nutrient environment to sustain life. In this final period of the child’s life, there is never a need to directly kill the child. The role of the mother is to simply love the child as she says goodbye. The mother can receive tremendous support from neonatal hospice or other hospice like support groups.

If the mother has cancer or infections of the uterus, the cancer or the infection can be removed. The intention is to remove cancer or infection, it is not to kill the child. The child may die as a consequence of chemotherapy or surgery, but the intent is not to harm the unborn child. If the mother is diagnosed with sepsis or other critical illness, there is nothing to prevent her from having that treatment. The unborn child may die but that is not the intention of the treatment. The baby can also be delivered via cesarian section and though it is unable to live outside the mother, the intent was not to kill the child.

Further, after 18-20 weeks, if the mother’s life is in danger, the baby can be delivered rapidly via cesarian section and the doctors work to save both the mother and the baby. There is never a need to directly take the life of an unborn child. In order to complete an abortion at this stage of pregnancy, the cervix must be dilated and this may take 2-3 days. If dilation of the cervix takes multiple days and the healthy child is killed via injection in the heart and or dismemberment, I ask is this truly what the mother wants?

Who benefits from abortion on demand?

Planned Parenthood and other abortion factories. Planned Parenthood claims to be a non-profit organization. It grosses over 2 billion in income per year.

Those who want to destroy minority families. The largest number of abortions occur in black women. Further, more black children are aborted than are born. One would think the black community would be up in arms. In the city of Richmond, Virginia, like most metropolitan cities, abortion clinics are deliberately located in the heart of minority neighborhoods. They further deceive the public by stating they are providing health care or family planning services. What are they doing? They are encouraging premature sexual activity with full knowledge that pregnancies will occur. They are happy to abort the child. After receiving payment by the mother or your tax dollars for the abortion, they turn around and sell the body parts or placenta to the highest bidder to make additional profit. The mother is never told they are selling the parts of the baby she just allowed them to rip from her body.

Human trafficking. Those who engage in human trafficking have no regard for human life by definition. Women and children are sex trafficked multiple times a day every day until their bodies eventually give out or they are murdered by their owners. Pregnancy is an inconvenience for those pulling the strings. Easy abortion is what is desired, especially for minors.

Major Corporations. Maternity and paternity leave are expensive line items. It is an inconvenience for companies to offer daycare or other options for mothers/fathers. It is much easier for them to advocate for and even pay for abortion. The mother’s employment continues without interference. However, what these companies miss is that if we continue to kill our children, they cease to exist. If we continue to kill our children, their is no one to buy their products. If we continue to support a medical industrial complex that supports toxins that harm our children, we all lose. Further, what the DEI human resource personnel often forget is that mothers, fathers, traditional families are generally happy. You want a company with happy employees. Happy people and happy families are the foundation of a healthy nation.

Satanists. Yes, Virginia is now home to a Satanic Temple that is celebrating abortion as a religious rite. All abortion is Satanic.

The pharmaceutical industry and other medical research institutes who seek the products of abortion: placenta and organs of the unborn child. The larger the organ, the greater the celebration. They also seek to have the organs delivered fully intact, thus, they are seeking late term abortions. I ask, will we become a nation that supports women becoming pregnant in order to sell the parts of the baby? Have we in fact become this nation? The poor sell their plasma, however, with the total disregard for the value of human life, will the above become a reality. This is frightening even to write, but we must look at the evil that is abortion.

Selfish men and women who choose their own needs above those of an innocent human being. Yes, many choose abortion for selfish reasons.

I am fully aware of the women who have had abortions and are overwhelmed by their guilt, grief, and shame. Many are unable to speak of the tragedy that occurred in their lives. Some have come to understand how they were manipulated or forced to make a decision that forever changed their lives. These women deserve our care, compassion, and support. Other women, who do not comprehend the depth of the decisions they have made or are making need our prayers.

This is a divisive issue in our country, state, our medical community and our families. However, if we are truly a nation dedicated to life, our actions should be to support every human life. A nation is judged not on its treatment of the elite but on the defenseless.
