Photobiomodulation/Red Light Therapy is HEALING. It is used by the military, major hospitals, and health spas and slowly is becoming available to the general public. Cleveland Clinic writes, “NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) originally began experimenting with red light therapy on plant growth in space and then to help heal wounds in astronauts. Like many developments, other potential uses began to be investigated.

In fact, red light therapy is already widely medically accepted in its use in photodynamic therapy. In this therapy, low-power red laser light is used to activate a photosensitizer drug. The interaction creates a chemical reaction that destroys cells. It’s used to treat some skin conditions, including skin cancer and psoriasis, acne and warts, and other types of cancer.”

After meeting Thomas Kerber, founder of SunPoweredLED Light Therapy, at the Virginia Medical Freedom summit in January 2024, I began researching the possibilities. I have begun using the treatment to help patients with migraines, concussions and the brain dysfunction of long covid.

“PBM therapy is the application of red and near-infrared light to diseased or injured tissues to reduce inflammation, promote regeneration and enhance immune resilience.

PBM triggers photochemical changes in the body, in the same way, photosynthesis affects plants or sunlight stimulates vitamin D synthesis.

Every middle school child who studies biology will know what mitochondria are. They are the parts inside every one of our 37 trillion cells that make energy (ATP).

But when we are injured, stressed, or just old, those mitochondria produce less ATP and more free radicals (ROS).

These ROS lead to inflammation (inflammatory cytokines), cell death, and the triggering of genetic weaknesses that lead to degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, etc.

When the right wavelength, intensity, and time parameters are applied, inflammatory cytokines are reduced, ATP is increased, and the body starts to heal more quickly.”
